Beware the Buzzwords.

Unparalleled flavor and nutrient density, and standards that exponentially surpass USDA Organic - that is the result of cultivating produce and raising animals in a way that mimics natural patterns and relationships. Welcome to regenerative agriculture. Welcome to Ridgemeade Farm.

From finances to chicken flock our farm is Holistically Managed exclusively using permaculture and regenerative techniques. We spend as much time on the planning as we do the planting and the results speak for themselves!

Unlike the barbed wire-protected, moonscape farms that supply your local grocery store with pesticide and herbicide-laden meat and produce, fertilized with petrochemicals originally designed for chemical warfare and unnaturally ripened or colored with carbon monoxide, we offer only pure, natural foods - straight from our vibrantly alive farm to your table.  Seem over the top?  Not to us.  Food is life and life-sustaining so we are passionate about creating the healthiest food on the planet and educating our community about the differences between mass-industrial mono-cropping and small, local regenerative farming.

Ridgemeade is fertile with rich soils, green pastures, bubbling brooks, and healthy woodlands.  Why? Because we take our cues from Mother Nature and work in harmony with her, just as the farm’s previous owners did before us, and those before them, making Ridgemeade one of the oldest Biodynamic (real organic) farms in the country.

Our animals spend their entire lives out on pasture, happily expressing their nature, and our gardens are fertilized with on-farm-made compost, creating true dynamic sustainability.  The result is natural abundance, incredible resilience and resistance to drought, pests, and predators without the “help” of chemicals.

Moreover, we are a truly independent family operation. When you choose Ridgemeade you're choosing not only the highest quality food you can buy but you’re also supporting a deeply ethical way of life and helping our family to preserve and steward this iconic, 1849 farm and its dynamically sustainable ecosystem for generations to come.

Forget all the buzzwords and come experience the farm for yourself.  Can’t make it in person? Visit our online shop and join our mailing list!
