They will connect with nature while building friendships and learning to care for the earth and animals around them. What will your camper experience during a week at Ridgemeade Farm Camp? Hands-on caring for animals. Planting, weeding, and building of soil. Observing nature while Hiking. Creating and playing with others. Using wild plants to create salves and art. Who is this camp for? All children who are lovers of the outdoors. Farm experience is not required or needed. If your child loves playing and exploring in nature, they will be the perfect fit. *Cost Includes: Daily organic snack, camp T-shirt, journal, and all craft supplies.

8:30-9:15 Play/Craft, Morning Meeting/Group Game
9:15-10:30 Animal Focus: Cows, Chickens, Pigs, and Sheep.
10:30-11:00 Journal/ Observation time in the barnyard.
11:00-11:45 Lunch
11:45-12:30 Craft (TBD)
12:30-1:15 Additional Focus: Rabbits, Bees, Garden, Ducks, Water, and Compost.
1:15-1:30 Snack
1:30-2:00 Scavenger hunt, herbal plant study, worm find, hiking walk, plant and mushroom identification.
2:00-3:00 Water play / games
3:00-3:30 Helping with chores. Collect eggs, watch animals move, feed calf.
3:30-4:00 Play/craft/journal
4:00- Pick-up
