Raised on native pastures along Lake Erie's southern shore—reminiscent of France's famed Sisteron Valley, renowned for producing some of the world's finest lamb—our lamb is 100% grass-fed and finished, chemical- and drug-free, produced in alignment with the methods and guidance of our mentors and heros, now retired John and Sukey Jamison, the legendary farmers behind America's most celebrated lamb at Jamison Lamb Farm. We humbly call this method The Jamison Way.

Terroir-driven, premium lamb with a story, a soul, and a steadfast standard of culinary excellence. Offered in limited quantities to chefs and private buyers who understand that exceptional quality requires exceptional care.

Allocations are by invitation—extended only to those who align with our commitment to the Jamison legacy of truly pasture-raised quality and care.

Following the strict guidance and methods of the Jamisons, we exclusively graze our sheep on diverse, native pastures with daily rotations to fresh grass. We harvest our lambs between 10 and 11 months of age in late fall, following millennial tradition (rather than the grain-fed industry standard of 5-6 months all throughout the year). This matters because our lambs are finished on cool-weather grasses, forbes, and herbs, giving complex flavors to meat unattainable with fatty, grain fed lamb. We have also partnered with our USDA butcher to implement a proprietary harvest and processing technique developed by John Jamison in collaboration with Julia Child—resulting in exceptionally tender and delicate meat.

Rather than mass distribution, our interest is in building lasting, culinary relationships that will carry forward the Jamison's legacy of exceptionally raised lamb. We invite all of our partnered chefs to visit us at Ridgemeade Farm.
